The upcoming generation are not interested to learn because of the same. Handicraft applique is one of the oldest and finest crafts of Gujarat. Different patches of farics and beautiful forms of floral and animal motifs are used to prepare quits, hangings, modern household products and apparel. To promote this craft, it has been contemporized, with losing it's essence.
